Our Staff

Gary A. Jamell,M.D. has been practicing medicine since 1992. He completed medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1991. He completed a year of Internal Medicine training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver before going on to specialize in Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology.

He has been practicing Ophthalmology since 1992 and has successfully treated thousands of patients. He recently had LASIK surgery himself, and he has been thrilled with the marvelous results.

He is currently both in private practice at Colorado Eye Care as well as a clinical instructor of Ophthalmolgy at the University of Colorado.

He is a lifetime native of Colorado and enjoys golf and playing the guitar in his spare time.

Richard Kelmenson, M.D. has been practicing medicine since 1978. He completed medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1977, he then went on to a year of Pediatric medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital before going on to specialize in Ophthalmology. He too completed his Ophthalmology training at the University of Colorado Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology.

He began Colorado Eye Care in 1983 and has successfully treated many thousands of patients. He also serves as a clinical instructor for the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

He enjoys spending time with his family as well as many outdoor activities.
